What should I do if my microphone isn't working?

Run the setup check to test your microphone, then check your device and browser settings.

Test your microphone before you start

1. Click the setup check icon (headphones) in the top bar.
2. Next to Microphone, click Test.
3. Also test your Speaker and Network connection, then click Done.

If your microphone still isn't working

1. Check that your microphone is connected and not muted on your device.
2. Make sure your browser has permission to use your microphone.
3. Confirm the correct microphone is selected in your browser or system settings.
4. Refresh the page or restart the roleplay.
5. Try Chrome for the best experience.
